Sunday School
September through May, PRCC offers a traditional Sunday school program with classes divided by grade levels (Nursery - High School) and taught by trained volunteers. For the past few years, we have used Seasons of the Spirit, an ecumenical curriculum with strong social justice messages. We believe firmly that our faith calls us to study scripture, to learn what it has to say to us in the 21st century, and then to act on what we learn. Throughout the year, the Sunday school is involved in various mission and outreach projects that reflect lessons learned in the classrooms.
Sunday school begins at 10:00 AM in worship. Following the message for Young Christians, children are invited to leave the sanctuary and meet in their classrooms to discuss the focus scripture for the day. Periodically, we hold Family Services during the 10:00 AM hour when children are invited to stay for the entire service with their families and worship together.
All of our Sunday School teachers undergo background checks each year and adhere to our Church’s safe sanctuaries policy.
All are welcome in our Sunday School program and you may register at any time throughout the school year. 2010-2011 Sunday School registration forms will be post prior to the start of the school year. Please check back soon!
