This group develops memorable events for Seniors to enhance their church fellowship; it remembers the Seniors in our church family with favors, cards, and holiday gifts; and these volunteers organize fun and rewarding events for the Seniors in our church family.

Events for Seniors

Special Spring Event - Free admission to Maine South High School’s musical presentation, followed by complementary dinner at PRCC for congregants and friends who consider themselves Seniors.

Special Summer Event - Complementary dinner at PRCC for congregants and friends who consider themselves Seniors, followed by a Concert in the Park (across the street from PRCC)

Special Senior Sunday Service - PRCC Seniors are featured in this unique worship service, similar to Youth Sunday but with more wisdom and wrinkles.

Delivery of pumpkins to Seniors
Delivery of Advent remembrance and booklet
Delivery of holiday goodies
Mailing of gifts/keepsakes from the PRCC Sunday School youth
Mailing of Valentine card, remembrance, and/or Lenten booklet
Delivery of Easter gift
Delivery of spring gift
PRCC hosts St. Matthew’s birthday party, complete with treats and entertainment
Mailing of birthday cards to Seniors
