Support Teams
Support Teams are built around the concept of helping in a way that works for volunteers who have busy lives. These teams give its volunteers a lot of flexibility and allow them to do something they enjoy at times that work with their lifestyles.
PRCC Support Teams offer a variety of services. Here are some of the ways these volunteers have helped: driving to the doctor’s or vet’s office, delivering meals to homes, writing cards or letters, tutoring Seniors in computers, serving at
Kindred Spirits Café, sharing a television sports moment and cheering a favorite team together, visiting a Senior when family is away.
Training for Support Teams happens twice a year, and we are always looking for loving people who wish to serve others but who have demanding personal lives or work schedules.
