Music programs exist for adults and children of all ages at Park Ridge Community Church. For more information about any of the groups listed below, please contact Sasha Gerritson. Most groups do not meet during the summer months and resume rehearsals and practice in the fall. Click on any title below for more information about the group:

Chancel Choir
The PRCC Chancel Choir, directed by Sasha Gerritson, is open to all adults, 16 years and older. The group sings most Sundays from September to June, at the 10:00 AM service.

The Chancel Choir repertoire is varied, ranging from traditional to contemporary composers, and from classical choral works to jazz and spirituals. The Chancel Choir has had an opportunity to “take the word of God on the road,” singing in Verona, Italy in 2007, New York City in 2006, and Florence, Italy in 2005, and most recently to Vienna, Austria in 2009.

Chancel Choir rehearses on most Thursday evenings, from 8:00 to 9:30p.m. Please check the calendar for the most current rehearsal information.

Angeli High School Girls Choir 
“Angeli” is an ensemble of female high school and collegiate vocalists who perform a repertoire of both sacred and secular music, from traditional church music written for women’s voices to Broadway and popular songs. The group is drawn from several area high schools and churches. “Angeli” performs periodically at PRCC services, and also at other churches and community events. They have recently recorded their first CD, and visited Boston and Stowe, VT on their first tour in the summer of 2008 and then sang in Wisconsin in June 2009.

OK Chorale
OK Chorale is an informal vocal ensemble that gathers to sing for Sunday services at PRCC several times per year. The group is directed by Mark Holihan, accompanied by guitars and focuses on Christian pop and folk music. Rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings, a week or two before the performance in Church. Anyone who loves to sing is welcome to join the group.

Junior Choir
Open to boys and girls in grades 3 – 7, this group rehearses on Monday afternoons from 4 – 5:00p.m. from September to May, and sings periodically in Sunday services. Please check the calendar for the most current rehearsal information.

Cherub Choir
Open to boys and girls from kindergarten to second grade, this group rehearses on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, and sings periodically in Sunday services. Please check the calendar for the most current rehearsal information.

Wall of Sound
Wall of Sound is a group of instrumentalists (guitar, piano, banjo, you name it!) and singers that lead worship and Sunday school for young children. They lead Sunday school singing each week and occasionally lead the kids in song during Sunday church services.

Bells on High Hand Bell Ensemble
This adult hand bell choir meets every Thursday from 6:30 – 7:30p.m. from September to May. This ensemble is directed by Sandy Bowen; please contact her to visit or join. Please check the calendar for the most current rehearsal information.

Community Church Chimers Hand Bell Ensemble
This hand bell choir is geared towards 5th through 8th graders and meets on Mondays from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, depending on the schedules of the group members.
