"The Other Place"
You spend the majority of your time at home and at school, not to mention sports, drama, choir, and other after school activities. AND THEN THERE’S HOMEWORK!!!
Often, it seems like you don’t have enough time in the day. Often, it feels like there’s a lot of pressure on you to compete, to achieve, to be the best, or at least better than most. Often, it looks like there’s no other way to be.
BUT THERE IS!
Think of the PRCC programs for youth as “The Other Place”— a place where there is always enough time; a place where there is no pressure to be the best, only an invitation to be yourself; a place where we discover, together, a new way of life.
Everyone is welcome at “The Other Place.”
And please bring friends.
The more diverse our group, the better!
Through creative games, theological reflections and devotions, skits, open and confidential conversation, service, and fellowship, PRCC youth can take a moment to breathe, to reconnect with God, with one another, and with themselves, and to choose to look at their world in a different way—it’s not all about the labels on your clothes or the labels that others use to define you!
It’s not that complicated…
You are created to have life…
You are redeemed in order to have life abundantly…
You are fed and sustained in order to share that life with others.
It’s always a good time for a fresh start!
